I have a few people on social media who have become involved in MLM like bodyshop at home. It seems like a weekly push now to publicly declare their mental health issues under some branded hashtag or another about self love. They usually end by explaining how said MLM has helped them and they can't wait to help other people too so are looking for people who want to sign up.
I can't work out whether its because MLM attracts people who have mental health issues or whether the people selling MLM will say anything to flog their merchant and recruit more sellers.
AIBU to think a MLM isn't actually helping them but is likely making their mental health worse or am I being horribly judgemental about a business model that genuinely helps people?
