To think we don't need more nuclear weapons?!

The UK government has announced plans to increase nuclear arsenal by 40 percent, potentially in breach of international law.

I've not seen any other threads about this and don't understand why there is not public outcry?

I wondered why there wasn't more on this too. Especially in these tough Financial Times I was really surprised of how much a priority it's become. Maybe they have some intel? Apparently Russia is our biggest threat to our national security.

I dont think we should have any nuclear weapons but too many people think we need them. I think its no good that we have money for that but only for 1% nhs payrise!
