To love my rushed card!

My son had a panicked look this morning and promptly vanished into his room (he was meant to be at his dads yesterday where I don’t doubt he would have bought a card but his dad is unwell so he has stayed here)

He came down with this rushed home made card and I couldn’t help but laugh my head off! No hearts and flowers here, oh no! Here is an artistic representation of my giving birth 11 years ago (I know the drawing is terrible for 11 he is not blessed with art skills) but it’s so great! I will love it forever hahaha

My DS9 made me a tower garden in Minecraft. The surprise? When you hurl yourself off the top, you see the words "Happy Mother's Day! Woof!" getting bigger and bigger until you splat on the ground

I love it too, and the fact he realised, at whatever time, he wanted to have something to give you is lovely!

Ah that's great - I love it! I much prefer a home made card, even if it's done at the last minute. It's just nice to see what they draw or write. Mine are usually insulting in some way, but they make me laugh, and that's more an accurate representation of my relationship with my dcs than a shop bought card would be.
