Is anyone else having this problem. It comes up as a host error. I'm not sure this will post as when I try to post the error message comes up.

Yes same here since about 5pm. I'm honestly thinking it's not worth coming on to post or read threads on a Saturday any more. This is about the third week in a row it's been glitchy on a weekend.

The Gateway Error has been a pretty constant feature over the last few weeks.

Same here! I'm copying posts I write before I send because the site keeps crashing! I wondered if there were controversial threads ATM and they are having to keep taking it down to catch up with the moderating? Pure speculation of course! Maybe MN is just broken!

Hate to say this but there were two other forums I used to be part of where the same error kept popping up with increasing frequency. This went on for quite a while, at least 2 years with one forum, and both were abruptly shut down. No prior warning to the users or any indication that the site was in trouble. One forum did state afterwards that the reason was due to rising costs in hosting/servers and they could no longer afford to keep the site running.
