980 square feet

Is it enough for a family of three, which could possible become a family of four? Small garden. We love the location but don't know if the space is enough. Would really value other people's experiences.

Yeah it’s fine, my previous house was less than that and the uk average is also below that

It can often depend on the layout.

The house we are currently in is bigger than the one we are moving to in terms of square feet, but the layout is better so bedrooms (for example) are actually much bigger.

I grew up as part of a family of 4 in a house that was just shy of 900square feet and it was fine. It didn't feel small to live in- but we did only have one loo.

It's pretty standard for a 3 bedroom house. Plenty of families live in houses that size or smaller.
