This is a follow on from my previous thread. But I'm wondering if my buyers mortgage provider will still lend to him for my late parents house due to a mineshaft been 3 houses along in a back garden and one house having had subsidence.
Has anybody on here bought a house with a mineshaft close by and still got thier mortgage okay.

Maybe, maybe not. I'd hazard the guess that if your parents had insurance that didn't have a massive caveat over subsidence (other than a higher excess) then it's probably far more likely that they will.
