Relationship doubts

Basically cause of lockdown we both have had to move home, we planned on commuting to eachother when restrictions lifted however his parents are comfortable and mine are sick, he suggested hotels every month, he has a job and I don’t so obvs he can afford it! Opinions what should I do

Hotels in the UK are closed currently, are you somewhere else? He needs to be working with you to find a way to make it work, if he wants that to happen. This year has been so tough on couples who do not live together I think, but that isn't an excuse for him not supporting you through difficult things like losing your job and being insensitive about the fact that you can't afford to stay in hotels while unemployed. It sounds quite odd, is there more going on than you have said?

Thanks for the reply, In Ireland, no basically that’s it, ya I think he thinks it can work that way, I’ve explained we can’t do that every month while I’m out of work....I’m not too sure what to do
