For some reason it really irritates me.

YANBU this one doesn't bother me but I loathe that passive aggressive, smug little upside down emoji > 🙃.

OP I use the thumbs up or down symbol quite a lot to family members who message me and I haven't got much time, I will check if it annoys them.
