AIBU about another coffee mailing machine

Dh has just spent his birthday money on a coffee machine. We already have a Tassimo one and a milk frother alongside it. I don't drink coffee the young kids occasionally have hot milk/ hot choc. He rarely cleans/descales them or behind them and now has stormed off because I said this is another thing I have to clean and I don't like the ones with milk tanks (he knew this) because they are a potential breeding ground if not looked after which I know he won't. Not to mention less worktop space. ibu AIBU about it, am I just a moody tea drinker?

Why would you clean his coffee machine that you never use? Just don't clean it.

Why are you the one cleaning it if you don’t drink coffee? Let him do it and if he doesn’t he can pay the price 🤮

I clean it because I am really sensitive to smells and the stale coffee is particularly pongy to me. I do make him coffee with it and have occasionally been the one that's made the mess and broken pods.

You're going to have to learn to ignore it and leave them for him to clean every single time

He can spend his birthday money on anything he’d like. It’s a bit mean to bash him for getting a new one. Tassimo pod machine are rubbish compared to proper machines.

And no one is making you clean it except yourself. So just don’t clean it. And don’t sniff it.
