To ask for hair dye help during lockdown!

Any hairdressers on here who wouldn't mind giving me some advice?
My hair is naturally medium/dark brown but going very grey. It's bleached and has been previously damaged in the past after I used to bleach at home years back. However, I've been having it coloured professionally for the last 2 years and put Olaplex in it regularly so apart from it needing a good cut it's in fairly good condition.
I really want to colour it grey/blue colour permanently. Something that my grey/brown roots will blend into and hopefully mean I can grow it all natural eventually. The hairdresser was supposed to do it in Feb and I now won't be able to get an appointment until May. If I use the colour freedom graphite grey and maybe mix a brighter darker blue into it will it work? I'm scared of messing up and being stuck with it but desperate to do it on the other hand! The temporary/semi permanent greys don't work for more than a week or 2 so no good. Pic included sorry it's not the best!
Any advice?

Would your hairdresser mix and sell you a colour to apply yourself at home? That would tied you over until you can get booked in and reduce the risk of getting it wrong.

I'm not sure. I darent message and ask as I'm certain he will say don't do anything!!

Could you use a toner instead of a dye? I’m not sure which one as I’m not a hair dresser but things like purple shampoo/toners if used correctly can colour correct hair that’s turned a bit brassy and can give hair a white/ grey tone. Just to tie you over until the hairdresser🙂

I strongly recommend esalon. I was so anti home colouring but since last March I have been doing it myself with esalon. I went from bleach blonde to brown.

They are brilliant.
