DH has just served up sick on a plate (lighthearted)

Yep DH just served up something that looked like sick on a plate an hour late. I think it was meant to be cottage pie. To be honest meals like cottage pie are naturally a bit sloppy but this looked like a bad school dinner. The meal/sauce/gruel was inedible so I managed to scrape about 2 tablespoonful of (ready made) mash and eat that.

AIBU to eat the GU chocolate spread I have hidden?

After I went to put DS to bed and he took over an hour to get to sleep. Since dinner was already over an hour late before taking DS to bed I decided to go to bed as it was late and I didn’t want to be quizzed by DH. His cooking is normally just about edible but unless you start jumping up and down and shouting it’s the most amazing thing you’ve ever eaten after a single forkful he sulks and makes comments about people being ungrateful. I’ve just nipped into the kitchen and thankfully DH has eaten all of the food/sick so at least I done have to put the vile concoction in the bin!
