To ask if there is anything I can do about this?

So currently WFH and will be doing for the foreseeable. Next door neighbours have a dog that barks from 8-5pm every single day without fail.

I have already tried to speak to them but to no avail. I'm actually at my tether with it, listening to it day in day out is starting to drain me.

My local councils process for complaining seems a lengthy process so I am wondering if there is actually anything I can do about this.

I can't live with it any longer Sad

Environmental health. Is it locked out?

Stompythedinosaur · 03/03/2021 16:24

Keep a diary, go through environmental health.

wafflepd · 03/03/2021 16:25

@Easterbunnygettingready The barking only ever comes from one part of the house. It sound as though it is locked inside a bedroom upstairs

Report it to the RSPCA? Poor dog.

Chloemol · 03/03/2021 16:48

Report to your Environmental Health, keep a diary, and also record if you can

8 would also call the RSPCA and see what they say

You could investigate the option of hiring office-space elsewhere where you could do your work. Not ideal obviously, but a short-term solution that's not killing yourself.
