Wisdom tooth dental question

Hello...

Sorry just posting here to try and get a response. I’ve got a wisdom tooth which is current growing outwards and therefore digging into the side of my face. The inside of my cheek is always cut open and sore because of it the tooth itself is healthy, it’s purely just the angle it’s come in it. Has anyone had any experience of this or does anyone know what the dentist would do for this? I tried googling but i could only find information about if the tooth is affecting the tooth beside it or causing more damage which in my case it isn’t, it’s just hurting the side of my face. I’m a big wimp at the dentist so I don’t want to get it taken out if I can avoid it, but equally it’s really painful atm so I need to do something

Sorry no experience but feel bad when posters don't get a reply! I have had a wisdom tooth extracted and it wasn't that bad - certainly not painful. Not a dentist but I wonder if the funny angle might make it more difficult to clean and therefore a potential candidate for extraction if causing you trouble anyway?

Maybe try soem dental wax..

My wisdom teeth were growing sideways but towards my back teeth rather than up. I had a few infections because of it so they took them out. It had to be done under sedation because of the type of extraction. It was sore for a couple of days but was fine after that.

I know you don't want it taken out but a few days discomfort would surely be better than what you are going through already.

Apart from that the only thing you could maybe put on it is bonjela?

If it's through it should be easy to pull out. I'd get it removed.
