What should I do tonight?

Childfree till tomorrow, not much on tomorrow, going over some things for an interview and will take daughter to the park then just get organised for school on Monday.

Give me some ideas to do tonight, have been interview prepping today/re watching White House farm.

Thinking of going to the shop and getting some wine in a bit. What can I do along side it?

What would you do if you were childfree on a Saturday night in an empty house (no partner) in lockdown?

This is my life GrinConfused
I drink wine, chat to fb/insta pals, have hot bubble baths with loud music and sing lots. Occasionally put the tv on and find something engaging - rare!
When single I've also known to join random dating sites and chat shit with strangers. Made some fun, good friends that way!

Yes this is my life 50 percent of the time when my daughter is at her dads. I'm quite happy to stay off the wine during the week but when it comes to the weekend I get antsy so some wine to chill me out but...then what!? 😅 chatting shit to strangers on dating sites could be a shout though!

This is me tonight so I’m going to have a bath and de fuzz myself, I’m giving myself a facial, manicure and pedicure. I’ve not looked after myself well under lockdown. I’ve got gin and stuffed vines and olives and some bits. I have a friend who may join me via zoom or a couple of programmes recorded that I never make time to watch. I might do some jigsaws on my iPad. If it’s zoom or iPad I will play music. Or I might just fall asleep depending on how much gin I drink. 🍸

Happycat1212 · 27/02/2021 17:07

I never get a break so I would just sleep tbh

bleathertheheather · 27/02/2021 17:09

@faerveren that sounds amazing! A little pamper night could be good - I'm the same haven't taken care of myself much during lock down. Enjoy your night! GinGrin

Research a new hobby and go online shopping for supplies ? Crochet , paper cutting , Lino printing etc Watch YouTube tutorials?
Then you could crochet while binge watching Netflix and make beautiful things.

If you liked White House farm, I’d get a free trial of ID+ and a couple bottles of wine and perhaps a Chinese. Yes that would be my perfect child-free night sorted.

FreeAt50 · 27/02/2021 17:55

@SnotLongTilEaster I loved White House farm and Googled ID+ and am a little lost...

SnotLongTilEaster · 27/02/2021 18:50

FreeAt50 ID+ is like an on demand channel for any documentaries, including a lot of real life crime documentaries. It’s awesome, I often watch ID, or crime+investigation channels.
You have to pay a subscription to get full access to ID+, but you can sign up for free and get limited shows. I did a free sign up, and you can watch “faking it, tears of a crime” about the White House farm murders. When I did that, it continued to play loads of those shows for free.

bleathertheheather · 27/02/2021 19:48

@SnotLongTilEaster do you just download it on Amazon fire stick? Like as an app?

bleathertheheather yes I downloaded it on my fire stick.
