9th anniversary gift

Ok, I need help!

This weekend is the 9th anniversary of our first date. We don't 'do' Valentines and as we are not married we use this as our anniversary to usually buy each other something nice, have a lovely meal etc. Except this year I've not got an idea what to get him! And it doesn't help I need it delivered Saturday.

He like the ocean, kayaking and paddle boarding, nature and a bit of an adventure. I think 9 years = copper or leather or pottery. So far I've got him a mug. A bloody mug, after 9 years that's all I could think of!!!

So, any ideas from you guys?

Designer leather belt.
Leather wallet.
Adopt a dolphin charity gift.
If he likes cheese, a pottery cheeseboard with lots of different cheeses.
One of those copper bracelets. Sorry, I forget what they are called but I bet you know the ones I mean!

There's things on etsy you can get personalised. How much did you want to spend?

claracluck1978 · 25/02/2021 19:46

Thanks Leeds2

Annoyingly, he never 'needs' anything like a wallet or a belt and just has ones that he replaces when needed. He bought me and the kids our own animal addictions as part of our Christmas gifts so I don't want it to look like I copied him!

I will look for a copper bracelet though, thanks!

Thanks Slashlover

I'm open minded with budget. We don't do valentines and we don't need to budget too much at the moment so I'd rather buy something great and not worry too much about the £.

Potted stilton, if he likes it?

Maybe a meaningful photo? That you could buy a nice frame for from Boots while you're printing off the photo?

Sorry just seen you'd already got a mug!

Leatherman pocket knife?

Leather and copper hip flask?

Promise of a meal at a favourite location? Professional photo of a favourite place (I found a lovely one of a previous holiday destination online for my OH). Is there anywhere locally doing posh restaurant food takeaway?

There's a few of these on etsy, I think they're lovely. Wooden watches

This seller has beautiful maps on wood, photos on leather.

(I've not used any of these so read reviews)
