I’ve got an undergraduate degree in Sociology. I’ve been working in schools supporting children who have additional needs for about 8 years. I always wanted to teach, but when I started my PGCE it didn’t feel right.
I really want to work in the mental health field and specifically children’s mental health. I do want to continue working with children, especially those who are vulnerable.
I’m looking at the courses currently, trying to get my head round funding etc.
Does anyone have any experience in this field? I’m 31 and have a 2 year old, I’m currently out of work but thinking this is the career path I want to go down.
