Was offered 2nd interview but never heard back

I applied for a job via a recruiter last Wednesday. I was invited for a zoom interview the next day by the ceo. It went well, he didn't ask me too much beyond some basic questions of why I was applying, working availability etc (he isn't technically qualified in my field to able to assess my competence)

He said he liked the fact that I was a very experienced candidate and thought I would be a good fit. He offered me a 2nd technical interview (1 hour long) with one of his colleagues and asked if I was available the next day (Friday). I said yes, but I just needed to know the time so I can arrange for husband to book time off and manage kids. He said that was understandable and that it wasn't urgent. Interviews were also taking place on Monday and Tuesday. He said they are a hiring a lot of people at the moment and that the first offers would be going out on Mon/Tue of the coming week. He said he would speak with his colleague to see what time she was available to interview tomorrow and get back to me.

The next day I didn't hear anything. I didn't have a direct contact for my interviewer so I asked the recruiter whether she could find out whether the interview would be taking place today. ( It was already 11am) The recruiter got back an hour later to say it may be possible it could be at 4pm and would that be OK for me?

I said that I needed them to give me a time so I could arrange childcare with husband. (It would involve him cancelling work meetings etc). She said she would ask them if they could give me a time for Mon/Tue instead to make it easier. I agreed.

I never heard back from anyone. I chased it up on Monday and the recruiter said they were chasing them. On Tuesday recruiter emailed to ask whether I had been sent the interview time. I double checked spam/junk mail and there was nothing. Recruiter seemed surprised and told me she would contact and ask them how they would like to proceed. And now nothing.

AIBU to think they are ghosting me and that there will be no second interview?
AIBU to ask for more than 4 hours notice for a technical 1 hour long interview??

I'm kind of kicking myself for not going along with the tentative friday 4pm interview. I was just worried that it wasn't enough notice for my husband and that I wouldn't be in the right frame of mind at such short notice with a 1yr old and 4 year old running around and screaming in the background.

I have ran lots of interviews and honestly if they are trying to move internal meetings to get a few people together it can take ages. I would give them the benefit of the doubt and wait a week or two. If you don’t hear anything then ask for feedback as you are assuming you weren’t successful. I wouldn’t count your chickens yet

I can't understand why you didn't accept the 4pm. I think this may have put them off.
