Candles - naked torsos

I like candles, and I like browsing Facebook marketplace.

I'm not sure if its me or not, but my god every other advert seems to be a male or female torso.

That'll be based on your search history and/or what you've been talking about close to your phone...

I've noticed these candles in lots of interiors type Instagram accounts. It's usually because a big fashion house has launched them at an eye-watering price, so plenty of replicas will be knocking about.

That female torso on a light bulb photo looked like a torso in a womb on my tiny phone screen! weird, weird, weird. What does it look like when you light the female one & it gets to boob level?? Terrible plastic surgery or breastfeeding wax?

One of my facebook friends sells these at £15 each and can't keep up with demand, I think they are nasty myself

My sister bought one of these for some reason! It was a chubbier one, for body positivity or something. I've definitely seen them a lot of places. Not sure why it's a trend, it's awful.

When I’ve seen these (everywhere atm) I wonder if you actually burn them or use them more just for an ornament?

They're horrendous. Why are these even a thing?
I mean do you burn it? Watch a human body burning?! Why?!

What does it look like when you light the female one & it gets to boob level??

Or when it gets lower down and you've just got a melting crotch?

I have also noticed they are very popular in the interiors pages on Instagram so I think they are just having a moment, I don't like them either!

the thing is as usual the torsos are exagerated - if they were neo classical style maybe but the bust on the female one would give anyone a permanent back injury

I make and sell candles and these are everywhere at the moment although I don’t sell them.
Really they should be more for decoration. If you were to burn them, they’d make a terrible mess of melted wax and would only take about 90 minutes to burn all the way down.
