I'm glad we are coming out of lockdown I really am. But I lost my dad during the pandemic. We had to have a tiny funeral and in his final days (although we were lucky enough to be able to see him which I know hasn't been the case for lots of people) he still never to say goodbye to so many of his friends and extended family.
Keep seeing people overjoyed about returning to normality and how great life will be but for us it will never be the same. I can't seem to feel happy about it. If anything the thought of facing normal life without my dad feels wrong and quite scary.
Don't mean to be a downer but it's just how I feel. Anyone else?
