That's quite mild in the photo too compared to what it can get like

Hi .. I have rosacea and my skin flares up like this if I’m stressed. It also causes me other problems but this was the main issue I had for years.

I think that's a stress rash, also called "stress hives". When you're stressed or tense your sympathetic nervous system goes into overdrive and produces too much histamine which irritates your skin causing the hives.

They're really common amongst 30-40 year-old women but harmless.

The best way to get rid of them is to relax (easier said than done!) but you can also take a anti histamine, especially if you want to avoid the rash in an interview or something. You can also try a cold compress.

Yours don't look too bad though so I wouldn't worry too much, and you have lovely skin.Smile

I break out in spots also (rosacea acne) and it got much worse after I had my children apparently down to hormonal changes. For the flushing unfortunately there isn’t much you can do when it happens. If I have an interview etc I try my best to wear my hair down and clothing that covers my neckline where possible. Sorry that’s not much help but I know how uncomfortable it can be xx
