I mean, I'm quite enjoying it but I haven't a clue what's going on or why.

yes - she's undercover

everyone (including her kids and ex) think she died in a fire

she's having recurring memory loss again

she was with one of the sons - he got bumped off - she's shagging the other and another one - all under cover

The sister husband got bumped off by somebody who has a vendetta against the family (ex police)

Her undercover liason is dodgy as hell - or is he?

He ex colleague turned up and got a shock (investigating the now dead husband of the sister for an attack in London) - erm and that poor kids got shot so he couldn;t be a witness

also the family are big crime bosses - they are trying to persuade the mayor to turn a blind eye to their activities by blackmailing him and killing that woman

Oh and that handyman (also sleeping with the son) knows something about her but hasn't said

But why is she hallucinating and where are her kids?

she has breaks because of the trauma of loosing her third child - her kids are in Singapore with their dad and his wife

basically her mental health is so shot she'd never really be accepted to work undercover!

I loved the other two series but found my interest waning in this one and didn't really follow the plot.

We binge watched them and I felt the same for a good while but I think you are meant to be confused, just go with it!

Yep :( There is a huge amount of backstory which is hard to explain! The first 2 series are on Netflix and worth a binge if you can.
