Mark was supposedly 42 at the time of filming. 42? He looks so much older. And he’s slipped up a few times with remarks about his age that don’t quite add up.

I thought he was 46? I don’t like him anyway

There's a few that look older on there, John and his wife (the one wanted a Polynesian man) both look older than they said, especially her. I would have said easily all 3 of them look 10 years old minimum than they have said.

I thought he looked older too but put it down to sun weathered skin and living a tough army life.

Now I don’t know whether he was 46 or 42 . Either way he could pass for 52.

I agree he looks older, but he doesn't dress very young and he's quite grey so maybe that why.
I don't believe Ning is 32 either, I thought she was the same age as Mark.

I have just been watching it (in an endo flare up and I really can't do anything else). He wasn't very strong with Jess saying he wanted to sleep with prostitutes was he? If someone said that about me I'd be livid but all he came up with is 'Don't drag me into this'! Also, Ning's post 3 kids looks unbelievably amazing.

I thought he was close to 50 and I think Ning is late 30s. I also think Heidi was older and so was jules.

Heidi looks older than 38. But I was wondering if sun damage ages them? HD TV, heavy make up and set lighting really shows up fine lines and open pores.

I think he behaves old. Most of them are quite odd aren't they.

Also agree @ThewhoamIquestion - that thing about the prostitutes was brushed off, wasn't it? I wouldn't have been a bit surprised if Mick hadn't intended to do that - more surprised at Mark, but maybe it's something they planned to do together.

It must be so boring being on that show if there's no real drama - they don't show us what they're doing all day but there was a hint in season 5 where one of the guys said they had to just sit in the apartment all day long.

Is anyone else watching more than one series at the same time and getting really confused about who's in which series?

See, I wouldn't have thought either of them would have been into the prostitute thing. They both seemed like okay men who were quite respectful of their 'wives' wanting to wait before they had sex.

Yeah I found i was shocked when he said his age. Easily 50. And its not his grey hair its everything about him. I also recalled him saying things about his age that I can't pinpoint it now but whilst watching made me go?? I'm sure he referenced his own age as being 50 or 50s or something similar.

Ning also. If she was 32 during filming I will eat my hat!

Mike also easily looked his age if not older. Heidi looks older towards the end of the series bless her and I genuinely think its because she's exhausted from being married to that massive chauvinistic, completely narcissistic arsehole Mike

The sun must account for a bit of it but still...

I know Mike was trouble, but bloody hell, I couldn't have lived with Heidi. Her expression was so pained - I could see his heart sinking every time they had a conversation. It's the old thing about starting a fight in an empty room - she'd be great at that.
