Hello,

I'm a very new mum, my DS is 4 weeks old so must admit I've not had much time to game recently but whilst I was pregnant I was playing cyberpunk and I absolutely love it despite the glitches, I am wanting to finish it but I also want to start the last of us 2 again and I've just downloaded control as it was free on PlayStation store but I also like playing the Sims and animal crossing but like said at the moment I have a newborn and sleeping and eating is hard nevermind gaming haha any tips or is it better to wait until ds is a little bit older to pick up gaming again?

I reckon if you’re playing single player games you should make time for it, if you enjoy gaming and it makes you happy. I am a massive gamer although admittedly no kids. I’d imagine it becomes trickier when you’re playing collaborative or times games, like WOW raids where if you had to go AFK everyone else would have to wait for you.

I was a gamer. Have a 15 month old. Wait until you gets reliably sleeping baby ( because at the moment you are better to sleep when baby sleeps or use time to get things around house or for baby sorted) and then start with single player games. SIMS maybe but it’s a bit addictive so you need to be happy to just dip in and out when can.

I have 3 kids, took 5 years after the first one was born to game again... And I had to stop again in this lockdown cause it was unsustainable with homseschooling

DH is a gamer. At that age he used to pop DS on his lap, in the hollow of his feeding cushion, and play! It gave me a few hours break.
