AIBU to ask you, if you were looking to buy something, like a bath caddy for example where online you would look for it?

We're thinking of setting up a small online presence selling recycled timber bits and pieces - but need to set up the 'shop' where it will be most noticed, so would you just do an online search? use Etsy, Ebay, Amazon or any where else?

Thanks in advance!

For me it would depend on cost and how it's made. Cheap and cheerful on eBay or Amazon but a little more unique or expensive then Etsy.

If it's a handmade item that I was looking to spend money on I'd focus on Etsy however I wouldn't buy any wooden items that go near the bath or shower.

I'm involved in the knitting/crochet community on Instagram and I think Etsy and a good Instagram go hand in hand. They're both a bit artsy and I'm pretty certain you can have links to listings directly from a photo so useful too. On Etsy it's also nice to see what a designer makes and if there's something else you're interested in, it adds to the experience a little which is not something I'm looking for when ordering from Amazon.

@northofsomewhere Thanks for your input. Similar to what I was thinking.
