Can someone please help me

I'm sorry for posting here but I have been trying to sort this out for a few hours and I'm getting nowhere!

I have had samsung phones for about 15 years and have never used anything else. Needed a change so got an iphone.

I have set it all up no problem but there is one thing that I can't seem to figure out.

Just picked it up to see I have a few missed calls and a few messenger notifications, but the phone didn't ring/ didn't sound a notification.

I have sound on youtube videos and when I am actually on a call/speakerphone etc its just when someone rings me and notifications.

I have included a screenshot because I seriously can't see where I am going worng, unless I have been staring at it for too long and am missing it.

Can anyone help?

Have you checked the side of your phone? To check it's not flicked down to silent?

Or go into settings, general controls and check under the phone bit to make sure everything is switched on.

You have volume buttons on one side and on the opposite side of your phone you have a button you can slide down and up. If it’s down towards the back of your phone then your phone is on silent and if it’s up towards your screen then it’s on loud. Hope that makes sense!😂
