I don't live in UK so I ask from the perspective of somebody who lives in different world when it comes to real estates. But I love UK and I'm very interested in UK culture.
Often time on Mumsnet I read people talking about starter homes and as I understand those are usually two bed houses. Very rarely I see somebody mention buying a flat.
So, what is a typical starter home in UK - flat or house? And please send links to typical british home. I'm addicted to rightmove and it is one of the things that keep me sane after a sleepless night with a baby.
