It seems like more threads get deleted and stuff?

I was off site for several months. It seems to me that more threads are getting deleted than before, OP's determined to be fake, MN having a 'look behind the scenes' and then the thread doesn't come back. Am I wrong? Confused

I suppose I comment on 'trending' slightly more than I did before, so maybe it's that trending threads are more likely to be dodgy or something. Confused

I don't think you're wrong, it's a daily occupancy for threads I post on, it used to almost never happen, now you can tell after just a few posts that a thread will get deleted.

@AllThatFancyPaintsAsFair I posted on some of the stories of dreadful OHs and quite a few of the threads were removed.

What gives it away that a threads going to go? I felt really embarrassed if I'd fallen for lots of fake stuff lol.

You also get people pulling the "might be identifiable" card when threads don't go how they want them to.

I thought 'troll hunting' was banned and yet people falsely accuse so many posters of being hoaxers. It happened to me. It's upsetting to OPs when they're in genuinely nasty situations.

I had a bit of a break too and have noticed the same. Also trigger warnings seem to be added a lot more now I think.
