I'm hoping you can all help me feel better about my shameful confession. I have been averaging around 7 hours a day on my phone alone.. I just can't believe it.
SAHM with 3 teens, I do the cleaning and errands whilst they do their home learning, and then.. sit on my phone it seems Blushit wasn't like this in the first lockdown, with the lovely weather. But this time round there is just nothing to do.

I'm intrigued to see what others are averaging.. !

mine is often more...

Onedrinktoomany2 · 18/02/2021 21:28

Oh so mine is ridiculous but I think it’s because I watch Netflix etc on my phone during the night 🤣

icantthinkofanamehelp · 18/02/2021 21:33

Mine is more

Wtfdidwedo · 18/02/2021 21:34

Always at least 3-4 hours but I do watch TV and do sudoku/crosswords on it instead of through the traditional methods!

6 hrs average. I’m so ashamed - its practically a second full time job, the productive things I could do!!

This is what I keep thinking... it's shameful isn't it Blush I feel guilty for not using the time productively and for wasting my life staring at a screen Confused

@Connie0102

Mine is 8 hrs yesterday, I’m shocked. I’m always complaining i am busy. Maybe not as busy as I thought
I certainly don't realise I'm spending so much time on there, it only feels like a couple of hours. Maybe it is, just several times a day Grin

I deleted Facebook from my phone as I so often end up scrolling mindlessly. I don’t take my phone to bed either, as I would scroll then instead of reading. I sometimes wish the bloody things had never been invented 😂

TeamNegan · 18/02/2021 21:50

8-9.5 Blush it’s grim. I don’t even feel like I’m on it that much and find it hard to cut down when it’s the main way to keep in touch with people...

Rockhopper81 · 18/02/2021 21:55

I turned off the screen time monitoring, as I don't need another thing to feel bad about. But - it's a lot. Generally split between 'phone, iPad and Switch.

JackieBeaver · 18/02/2021 21:58

JackieBeaver · 18/02/2021 21:59

Now signing off lol

DiscombobulationStation · 18/02/2021 22:12

At least I know I'm not alone, I'm not even sorry that it makes me feel less guilty Blush

All the time. Because I use it for everything.

BoomBoomsCousin · 18/02/2021 22:16

I'm on from around 7 am to around midnight with about 5 hours off for various things like cooking or errands. So about 12 hours a day. I don't really see why I would be ashamed of it. I've read tons of interesting things, watched some great TV, learnt some coding skills and I'm more in touch with friends than I was pre-covid.

Bolshybun · 18/02/2021 22:17

About 7 hours 🙈

Susanthepig · 18/02/2021 22:21

8.5hrs is what I’m currently averaging and that’s down 13% from last week.

Tangledtresses · 18/02/2021 22:24

I set my son 7 to 7 hours a day.... last week. He's been bouncing off the walls 😬

We do go out, make cakes craft etc

squeekums · 18/02/2021 22:26

DiscombobulationStation · 18/02/2021 23:20
