What to do with bigger clothes?

Hi Mumsnetters

I've recently lost 3 stone. I'm 5ft6 and I have gone from a 14/16 to a 10.

I was sorting through my wardrobe today and had a big trying on session. I came across the bigger clothes that are too big. Do I keep them or bin/charity shop/sell them? Likewise, I have found some smaller clothes (size 8) from a few years ago when I lost weight before.

Has anyone kept bigger/smaller clothes incase they lose/gain weight again?

What's everyone's opinion?

Get them all sold and buy yourself some lovely clothes you can wear right now. Well done on the loss!

Thank you. I'm hoping the weight doesn't creep back on!

Get rid of the bigger ones. I found that if I kept the bigger clothes, it was easy chuck them on if in a rush and then it’s a small step to putting back on weight but being in denial cos those bigger clothes still fit, whereas if you’re in your new slinky clothes you’ll notice weight gain quicker.

@sammylady37 I want to get rid. Though I tend to yo-yo with my weight. Thats why I don't know what to do.
