ASOS changing returns policy on the downlow

Just discovered that ASOS returns policy has changed. No email received to say so and apparently no publicity. It used to be that you could get a credit note up to 45 days but no longer. Is it my fault for not checking the policy when buying? Has anyone else been affected?

@Fiona2020 it's my understanding that under current law (its not called Distance-Selling Regs any more but can't remember the new name), buyers have 14 days from receipt of goods to cancel an order and return them for a refund. There are different regs for faulty goods.
