Annoyed about app purchase?

2 years ago I bought a bundle of “premium” theory test apps for £10 & passed my theory test. However with the pandemic, my practical driving test has been rescheduled FOUR times and my theory test is due to expire

I need to take a new theory test, so downloaded the apps I purchased again to find out the developer has discontinued the “premium” versions that I bought! The apps all auto close when I open them. The developer still updates the “free” version of the apps which are ad-ridden (think 30-60 second non-skippable ads every 5 questions). They do still offer the ad-free product that I bought, but in the form of a monthly subscription instead of the premium app.

Aibu to feel annoyed about this as it has been 2 years since purchase? My purchase is useless/inaccessible now. I feel like the company are profiteering against learner drivers in the same predicament as I

YANBU. Have you checked whether you actually need to take the theory again? It's not your fault your practical keeps getting rescheduled.

@Cadent thanks for replying! Yes, have to take my theory test again! Wish they could have extended it or offered a discount on rebooking but nope
