Who is BU here?

DP's daughter is 11 and has been home schooling while DP wfh. I go to work every day so basically she is minimally supervised.

For at least the third time now an entire pack of biscuits/chocolate bars has disappeared within 24 hours of being purchased. DP says it's my fault for not hiding them out of reach but I think at 11 she ought to be able to stop herself eating an entire pack of biscuits. DP is reluctant to step in and tell her to stop.

So who IBU?

He is being extremely unreasonable. And dsd is old enough to know better.

Shoxfordian · 16/02/2021 17:29

Is he her dad? Why can’t he tell her to stop eating all the biscuits?

Playnoh · 16/02/2021 17:31

I think that sounds typical. Maybe just hide them.

LApprentiSorcier · 16/02/2021 17:32

Are you sure it's the daughter not the dad (or both of them)?

IndecentFeminist · 16/02/2021 17:32

He's at home, if she needs controlling he should be doing it.b
