To not know what bed to buy

Put this in here because I wasn't sure where else to post, and if anyone would read it lol.

DS 3 he needs a new bed, old cot doesn't work anymore and he is in with me, which has its advantages and disadvantages. Had a lot to sort out since we moved and so on the list of things to do, it fell near the bottom, his room needs reorganising a bit, but main two things are the bed, I don't know what to buy, but needs to be something he will not fall out of and hurt himself from.

Also need to get curtains, don't read i horror, his window had to be changed it was a death trap literally! So only just looking at curtains, anyone got any suggestions for those too? Did you go with kids ones or not worry about stars and moons lol as that is all I have seen when I looked online. Want something cosy and warm though of course, and to block light out. Ordered thermal ones before off of eBay and they are crap so thin, and a few I have seen are almost see through!

How about a toddler bed

toddlerbed

We had one with a removable safety rail from mothercare, so sad they no longer exist.

You could just choose curtains you like and get blackout lining. These are really good, you just hook them onto your curtains with the curtain hooks and they really do block out light.
