I have managed to give myself a DVT from the most ridiculous of injuries.
I am staying mostly in my bed; keeping my legs raised.
I am taking all the meds I have been given from the hospital .
Bad leg is raised on a pillow.
Is there anything I can do to make it more comfortable?
I dont like being a whinge bag... but my leg hurts.

I remember your pj post. Did they give you some decent painkillers and are you westing the pressure stockings.

No, they didn't.
I have some codeine for my arthritis.
And some ibuprofen that I have been advised not to take.
Yes, I was wearing my socks yesterday but they are too long and keep crumpling at the top. Which hurts my poor knee.

Do you think it is worth persevering with the flight socks?

Are you able to do any exercise. Is your leg on the pillow or just your feet elevated. Did they give you any aftercare info or advice. If the pain is still there I would call for medical advice. Did the hospital have a dvt nurse or clinic.

Exercise

I can walk to the bathroom.
I do draw circles with my feet and toes every half hour or so
Pillow goes from foot to knee
