Tesco Cheese, Ham & Pastry Chicken Breasts 2 Pack 386G

^ got these for tonight. It says to cook at 180c for fan oven but The text where it says for how long is worn off 😢

If memory Serves me well from last time I had these it was 45 minutes. Does this sound correct?!

From frozen?

That would be a long time from fresh. I'll go on tesco website see if I can find it.

AryaStarkWolf · 11/02/2021 17:13

I would have said 30 minutes

AryaStarkWolf · 11/02/2021 17:13

Cooking Instructions
Oven

Instructions: 200°C /Fan 180°C/Gas 6 30-35 mins Brush the pastry with milk or egg wash. Place foil tray on a baking tray in the centre of a pre-heated oven for 30-35 minutes.

TinyCake · 11/02/2021 17:14

45 mins sounds about right to me. I had something similar and did 40 @ 190°C

picklemewalnuts · 11/02/2021 17:15

Hmm. Doesn't say. Assuming it's fresh, I'd say 30mins. You'll know when the pastry looks right!

TinyCake · 11/02/2021 17:15

Ah ignore me, I clearly like my chicken over cooked!

InDreamland · 11/02/2021 17:15

<a class="break-all" href="https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/287314253?preservedReferrer=www.google.co.uk/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/287314253?preservedReferrer=www.google.co.uk/

It says 30-35 minutes

TinyCake · 11/02/2021 17:16

Or my oven is broken..

lynxca16 · 11/02/2021 17:18

45 mins a bit long - 30/35mins in a fan oven @ 170/180C sounds about right.

stampsurprise · 11/02/2021 17:22

Sorry I realised I should’ve specified that this is from fresh not frozen

If you go onto their website and select the item you can see they give you the option of see the cooking instructions

stampsurprise · 11/02/2021 17:23

Thank you all so much I get extremely paranoid about chicken having had food poisoning twice - both from restaurants abroad I might add not my cooking!!! Grin

I could not get the cooking instructions from Tesco which is strange as I usually can they seem to have stopped some of the cooking instructions

Looks like 30 to 35 minutes per site if it is the ones with the lattice pastry.

stampsurprise · 11/02/2021 17:30
