The sentence has come through, life with a minimum of 27 years.
I am pleased with the sentence, but as I said, I'm surprised he was found guilty of murder. 7 and a half minutes seems a tiny amount of time to get out of the car, rape and murder Libby, put her body in the river and then get back to the car.
What a tragic, tragic waste of a life. What gets me is how many opportunities there were to prevent this happening. So many people who intervened and tried to help, but this bastard was out there stalking women.
