Treadmill upstairs, yay or nay?

We live in a new build. Don't have room downstairs. Would you put it upstairs?
If it makes a difference it's electric not manual.

Yabu- no it will be too noisy
Yanbu- yes it will be fine

@AlwaysLatte because there is less impact on a treadmill, I tried running outside and ended up with really painful shins. Also less chance of injury from uneven pavements. We have just bought one and I love it, maybe after I have been using it for a few months I’ll try outside again.

I've never understood treadmills. Why not just go out for a run??
