First time posting so apologies if this is wrong place.
As the title states my question is regarding social housing. I have had a nose on here but conversations seem to be quite dated so was hoping some fresh experiences could come along 😊
So, the bidding sysytem- my local council doesn't have set days that properties are added, so I find myself logging on every couple of hours in hope, its taking over my life- anybody else the same?!
And dont get me started on the "shortlisting process"- if I've placed a bid, im then checking every half an hour 🙄.
We are currently in a HA property- beautiful house, beautiful location- not so beautiful rent!!. We've been placed in band B for a move due to medical issues. We are also regularly logging on to homeswapper but again, the not so beautiful rent becomes an issue!
Anybody else in fear of becoming absolutely obsessed?!. We are told not to go look at eligible properties but how can I not have a sneaky drive by all hours of any day just to imagine what I'd do with the place....I cant stop my heart getting set on a place, searching wallpapers and such like EVERY BLOODY BID!!!!
Tell me im not alone....
