We are passed the Thomas phase now but it always struck me how terribly divided the Island was - all the hostility between steamies and diesels and how diesels were dirty and sneaky and sly. And Thomas NEVER bloody learns -- how many episodes did he cause confusion and delay by being an ego centric, showy off twat? And don't get me started on James - hideous preening idiot. Now Ds is older I get to have similar feelings about YouTubers

The new(ish) books make me want to poke my eyes out. The fat controller is so quick to judge without finding out what really happened, clearly needs to go on management training.

Didn't Thomas have female carriages though? Annie and Clara Bell maybe? Not sure if that was just in the book (or I just imagined that. Luckily my children weren't really in to Thomas).
