Its an opinion piece that raises some points about the impact on education etc. Nothing very earth shattering

Well lots of people will continue to work from home, we may have restrictions ( those vaccinated can’t travel ), lots of people have lost jobs/businesses so I guess there will be high levels of unemployment, the NHS will probably have very long waiting lists, HCPs might continue to wear masks, kids might not do exams for a long time,

It’s indirect effects they are talking about would be my guess.

It’s likely because there will be a new normal - more flexible working arrangements, greater rate of innovation, a more diverse and engaged workforce, the realisation that we don’t need to work in huge fancy expensive London buildings any more, better for environment/well being etc. For many of us in office roles there is no going back to normal.

Oh, I’ve just read it. That’s much less exciting and interesting than my idea. Someone should write about that instead.
