Shamelessly posting for traffic!
My OP and I run a business in central Portugal - equine assisted training - helping people develop communication, leadership and team building skills by working with our amazing herd of horses. However CV has brought the whole thing to a screaming halt(er) and we're struggling. We've sold everything of any value and cut our costs to the bone - we can't sell the horses A/because they'd be no business without them and B/5 of them are 21 and the youngster (17!) is not rideable due to arthritis.
We've thought about trying to attract corporate sponsorship to keep the horses ticking over until we can restart. Problem is I can train people face to face, do all the manual work around the farm and chat about horses until the cows come home but I haven't got a fucking clue about how to schmooze big companies.
Is there anyone out there who can give me some pointers? Do's and don'ts? Proof read my proposal? (Once I've written it!)
