Had indigestion all night and it's making my stomach bloody sore. Can't nip out to the shops either for anti acids. Any help?

My mate had a bad problems with acid reflux (I think it is) and was given lists of foods which balance the acid/alkaline. Can probs Google.

Try milk if you have some.

AfterSchoolWorry · 03/02/2021 01:07

Buscopan works for me to an extent.

Do you have any Manuka honey? A teaspoon or two really helps indigestion and acid reflux.

ComeCovidCloser · 03/02/2021 01:10

I had this regularly and started drinking probiotic drinks, just the cheap ones from lidl or also, and they have made a real difference to the problems Iwas having with my stomach. I usually drink 2 per day, one in the morning and the second after my last meal of the day.

Possibly a long shot, but you bake? If you have any Bicarbonate Of Soda, a teaspoonful in a glass of water sipped slowly will help.

ps: It won't taste nice.

OldAndWornOut · 03/02/2021 01:48

I was just about to say bicarbonate of soda.
It works quite quickly too.

DuaneAgain · 03/02/2021 02:10

A long satisfying parp might help too....

SueblueNZ · 03/02/2021 08:26

Another one for baking soda. It is almost an instant fix.

carnations23 · 03/02/2021 08:28

Following. DS has this and is under 12 so can't have the magical gaviscon. Very interested in Manuka honey thank you!
