Half way through season 3 I’m really enjoying this show and hoping my french is improving, DH is a bit bored now thought ...

Yes, he is so like Roger Allam. And yes, I'm starting to fancy him (am half way through Season 2 at the mo) as well.

AND I fancy Hicham.

I love that show but find it so strange - the women all so thin and chic and the men sort of round and wrinkled looking.

I do think renaming it “call my agent” is a bit of a cop-out for the American market tho. It was “Dix per cent” in the original and I think we all know that title refers to their commission and it would be been better and somehow wittier just to call it “Ten percent”!

I love it tho. I only did French GCSE but I also like pretending to be French and speaking to my husband in pidgin French after bingeing some episodes!

Man, this lockdown’s a struggle. Anything for a bit of entertainment.

@Piglet89 Oh yes you're right he is like Roger Allam, I have a crush on him too from his In the thick of it days but never made the connection. I must have a type!

@Newgirls I know what you mean about the women being thin and the men being a bit chubby. Noemie is supposed to be the voluptuous one but is still very slim even though she is curvy. I was amazed how the actress who plays Andrea managed to make Juliette Binoche look solidly built by comparison! Although Binoche is beautiful beyond compare.

I think Gabriel is cute too but Mathias is on another level in terms of sex appeal. Hicham leaves me cold. I can see he is handsome, he reminds me Jared Leto just not my cup of tea, I never go for that type, not that they go for me!

@otherplans Andrea is beautiful and I love her nose! But yeah you have her I'll have Mathias!

I used to fancy Matthias, but he really was a self absorbed narcissist. Though I concede that he wore a scarf with aplomb.

@viques oui absolument! Mathias is awful in so many ways. I'm only on series three but realistically I can see the character has behaved badly especially to Noemie who he turns to for comfort and sex during his low ebb, like its another service she offers as his PA and chooses to ignore the fact shes in love with him.I don't know what happens next all that might change.

But as a fantasy figure Mathias will do nicely!

@Otherplans I agree...I'm straight & married but Andrea def could give me ideas...! She's v compelling! I don't find any of the men sexy though I loved their characters
