To ask school to help with this

My DC get pupil premium and are not in school at the moment and haven't been since before Xmas. We have no printer and can't afford to buy one. School email exam papers for them to complete and answering them on screen is hard, they could do with printing them really.

Seeing another message about pupil premium being used to pay for a tutor made me question if I could see if school could get one with the pupil premium money ?

I have no need of a printer and so it's only for the DCs school work.

Wibu to ask the school ?

They probably won’t buy you a printer but they print the papers out for you and allow you to collect them.

That would be fine, any solution suits me but I was not wanting to ask the teachers to do extra work.

Ask them to print the papers and post them to you. That's what we do.

Not unreasonable to ask for print out if the school requested a hard copy and you can't print it out yourself.
Asking school to cover the cost of a printer is a bit bonkers.

PP is already allocated and spent by the school. It usually funds extra staffing. It's very likely they'll print out for you though.

I haven't asked them so that's OK! I'll email them and see if they could print the papers as long as they won't resent the extra work
