Everyone is different, for me being outgoing so are my kids, soft play weekends winter, meals out, The works with the kids for Ice cream nice ice cream, Cinema. We now walk and park but not much park because of weather. First lockdown was better and I could understand it being done but now sorry I don’t.

My 8 year old is fed up. My 3 year is getting frustrated, his pre school is staying shut not that he likes going well he is fine once he is there but he has the routine. We usually do play dates, soft plays and now he keeps asking if lockdown is over I want to go to kids mania and I want to go here and there.

I think we make things as interesting as possible at home but only so much we can do and it’s wearing thin now. I’m literally feeling there is no end to this. I do think the effects will be bigger than some think. Social isolation is actually detrimental. My Nan 87 is losing it as well and wants to make her own mind up about how she lives.

She said yes they lived through hard times but never ever stopped from socialising and and kids went school, played together all VERY VERY IMOPORTANT for their development.

She gave a great book on kids living through the war. and they really pulled together and the games they played which they made fun.

I Know people say well this isn’t as bad but I beg to differ when we see we the unemployment, mental health issues, and many other potential diseases and possible change in some behaviour. Far more deaths with so many things combined. Family solicitors should be coming into a lot of money and busier I think. Pressure on families to work and homeschool. I could go on but I do worry about what’s going to happen. I don’t think back to normal quite as soon will happen.

I know I sound negative but I just think we haven’t see the real effects yet of a total lockdown.
