Where to buy bras in lockdown

I really need to buy some new bras. I had a baby last summer and have no idea what size I am or where to buy them as shops are closed. Any ideas?

My current favourite is a front-zipped crop top that was £9 in Sainsbury’s. It has removable thin pads, and is ridiculously comfortable. I’m a size 12, or a 34DD/E, and I got a large. If you’re not sure of your exact size then bralettes or crop tops are a good option

I'm desperately looking for bra's too. I bought my last few from M&S, I'm going by what size I bought previous, although the range is limited.

I understand you can return if they are too big/small, although I know inconvenient, They have a sizing guide on their web page and how to measure to get a better idea of what size to get.

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 31/01/2021 20:28

Noooooooooooo! M&S sizing is all wrong.

Definitely look into measuring yourself and then buying a load to try on (and rejecting those that don’t fit). I like brastop.

IMightCry · 31/01/2021 20:28

Have you got a measuring tape? Id go with M&S personally.

hedgehogger1 · 31/01/2021 20:32

Bravissimo used to do free returns and exchanges so you order some different sizes and send the unwanted back. They have online fitting advice too. Wouldn't bother with M&S ones

Thanks I will have a look at those, I think I'm a similar size but hard to know since having a baby!

Rigby and Peller will do virtual appointments, but their bras are expensive. It might be possible to find out from them what size you are now and then buy from elsewhere or buy in the sale. Brand Alley sometimes have R&P.

piefacedClique · 31/01/2021 20:36

I wear these now from matalan! I was always a Marks and Sparks girl but I discovered these a few years ago. They are identical! You would be able to tell them apart and the quality is excellent.... plus they are half the price! I have four packs arriving tomorrow actually! www.matalan.co.uk/product/detail/s2638472_cqaz/2-pack-dd-non-padded-moulded-bras-multi

piefacedClique · 31/01/2021 20:37

wouldnt

mootymoo · 31/01/2021 20:42

Buy cheap ones from Asda, buy 2-3 sizes and return the ones that don't fit. You can measure yourself to get an idea if you have changed size

mootymoo · 31/01/2021 20:44

I'm 34 e btw, I buy underwired unpadded

BingIsAMassiveTwat · 31/01/2021 20:46

Boob or bust for measurements, then brastop for cheap bras with free returns.

Moonface123 · 31/01/2021 20:53

I get mine from Amazon,.they have a good range.

HaHaVeryBunny · 31/01/2021 21:00

Pep&CO, 2 quid for a 34D t-shirt bra in black, think they do nude also.
Does the job for lockdown, until l can get back to my regular brand.

GreenSlide · 31/01/2021 21:02

I never miss an opportunity to recommend Molke. Life changing bras.

WoodpileHouse · 31/01/2021 21:12

I've just bought some from Marks and Spencer.

Ijustlikedthename · 31/01/2021 21:21

I bought some on Amazon as they do free returns. They had loads of decent brands plus their own.

Theworldisfullofgs · 31/01/2021 21:28

I have found figleaves and bravissimo really hpful with free returns.

Bravissimo guided me through a virtual fitting via their chat function.
