AIBU to want to move out of London? Curre ntly in zone 3/4 North East London. Really like where we live, house is big enough, we own, new-ish job with flexibility, husband loves it here. Dont need a car, kids in outstanding primary. Have been here 15 years and have 3 young kids.
But I cannot stop thinking about moving back up to Manchester where I'm from. I grew up in South Manchester and have always swore I didn't want to go back, love London. I'm now however obsessively checking right move. AIBU to want to uproot my family when they are all happy here? Its not like we need to move to be able to buy etc. Maybe it is a reaction to not being able to really enjoy London at the moment, or having been able to see family for nearly a year. Jobs wouldn't be an issue if we moved. Has anyone moved and had serious regrets? And if I could convince my husband to move, where could we go with a £600k-ish budget where we could replicate some of the feel of where we are now with good schools?
