6 days ago I started to bleed again two weeks after my last period. I have noticed that my periods have become much heavier with large clots. I am 40 and the same happened to my mum when she was premenopausal. Usually my periods are 4-5 days max with just 2-3 days of heaviness. This bleeding has not been as heavy but its constant. I have had horrible cramps and back pain as well as tiredness and up set tummy. Generally feeling a bit rubbish. I have spoken to the doctor who is going to do tests but I can't get an appointment for a coupe of weeks and at the moment the bleeding is showing no signs of stopping or even slowing down. I did a pregnancy test, just to rule out and was negative as I expected.
Has anyone else had anything similar?
