To love a deleted post

Whenever a post gets deleted in AIBU I invariably try to find it quoted in the comments.

I'm always disappointed when a post is deleted with the explanation "quotes a deleted post".

The drama, absurdity, injustice, hyperbole, and outrage is why I read AIBU. Comedy relief from lockdown life.

AIBU or does everyone else do this?!

YANBU! I do it too. Go on a mission to find out what the deleted post was! Grin

It's certainly more fun doing that than it is to find a whole thread gone and a blanket message saying 'We're taking a look behind the scenes' ...

MaMaD1990 · 28/01/2021 17:39

Haha love this, I feel such satisfaction when I finally find the offending post!

Duckduckduck123 · 28/01/2021 17:43

Love doing it 😅

Yep. People need to actually stop using the "quote" button as I discovered the other day. My post had been deleted for quoting a deleted post but others had been missed as they had just copy and pasted it instead!
