What time Do your kids go to bed if they are not going to school? I try and keep a routine but to be honest its around an hour and half later than I would during school time. I find the older my daughter gets the later she wants to go to bed as well. But j make sure it’s never matter than 10pm.

I try and keep bedtime same for weekends too with maybe an extra 30 mins. Holidays same but summer if we go abroad I’m then we flow with the locals lol

my kids have always been night owls and prefer late mornings so lockdown is ideal for them. my 6 year old goes to bed at 10pm, but more often than not he’ll get in bed with us and talk our ears off until about 11. my 13 year old goes to bed about midnight but i have no doubt he stays up on his phone later. the 2 year old and 8 month old both go up at about 8. the older ones will sleep until about 9/10 and the babies until about 8. it works for us so i don’t mind the later bedtimes.

Dt 11 go up to bed at 9 but usually natter for 30 minutes. When at school I'd send them up at 8:45 and presently It's a bit more relaxed if it takes longer to settle as they get up slightly later.
Dc1 is 16 and makes his own bed time routine. It's usually 11pm- midnight if got online lesson /or work and 1-2am if not. My only rule is if he starts getting tired and that affects his college work /attitude /others he must address it but he does seem to realise that he's over tired and probably has an early night once a fortnight.
